Belgium’s heaviest act SERPENTCULT is proud to announce that their new album WEIGHT OF LIGHT will see the light of day on the 1st of May 2008 through Swedish I Hate Records. The band will enter the Priory Studio in Birmingham (UK) next month in February to do the recording sessions, engineered by Greg Chandler (Esoteric). Once the recordings are done, the whole will be mixed and mastered by mastermind Billy Anderson (Neurosis, Cathedral, High On Fire, Men Of Porn, ...) in his new studio in San Francisco (USA).
SERPENTCULT will be presenting their new album in a range of shows early may in the Netherlands and Germany with UK’s legendary Warning, and the official CD presentation in Belgium will happen at the Hipodrome in Kuurne on the 10th of May (more news on that event soon!). After this, the band will prepare for some summer festivals to be announced later.
SERPENTCULT is truely excited with all these new events, and will prove to bring with this new album the the most unorthodox, dark and heavy tunes in years. Be forewarned!!
