PENTAGRAM will make an exclusive appearance at The Relentless Garage on Friday December 9th, 2011. Their latest album, 'Last Rites', was recently released on Metal Blade Records to universal critical acclaim.
Veterans of the underground hard rock/heavy metal scene, the band has often been described as America’s true answer to Black Sabbath. With a potted history dating as far back as 1970, central figure and founding member Bobby Liebling is clearly excited about the prospect, commenting; "I've always dreamed of playing London some day. Thanks to the fans for having us over to play in this great country! It's a land whose music has had a huge impact on my life and work. We are absolutely honoured".
Special guests for the event are the hotly tipped young Gothenburg band Horisont, who follow in the classic rock/metal tradition of fellow Swedes Witchcraft and Graveyard. Making an exclusive one-off appearance for this prestigious event, their debut album for Rise Above Records will be released prior to the engagement. "It is a BIG honour for us to support living legends and pioneers in hard rock. It's gonna be magic to play support to their first UK gig ever" says guitarist Kristofer.
