Mixing is currently underway on the new Macrocosmica album, due for release on January 31st, 2005.

 

The Macrocosmica track 'Albanian Modes' features on the Silver Rocket SR50 compilation cd - a compilation of 50 songs by 50 bands that played at one of the first 50 Silver Rocket clubs so far. Follow the SR50 link at www.silverrocket.org for more information.

 

Some information about the band incase you don't know us too well:

 

Macrocosmica play heavy prog-informed rock music. Influences range through Krautrock to Argentinian prog to AC/DC. Macrocosmica are based in Glasgow, Scotland. They are Keith Beacom (drums), Gordon Brady (guitar), Brendan O’Hare (guitar) and Cerwyss O’Hare (bass). Brendan was formerly a member of Teenage Fanclub and Mogwai, while Keith and Gordon are former members of heavy psyche outfit Bangtwister. The band have played all over the UK, Ireland, Belgium and Holland this year. They also headlined the first night of the Stoned from Underground festival in Germany (www.caligula666.de).
