Belgian TPOG let themselves be inspired by morose monster acts such as WINTER, CELTIC FROST, DREAM DEATH, SAINT VITUS, PENTAGRAM, THE MELVINS and GODFLESH in the creation of their music. The result is however not easy to put a tag on as TPOG has forged a unique sound which has taken them deep into the territories of non-trendy music. So let’s just say that regardless of which genre to place TPOG in, they are so god damn heavy you won’t believe it until you’ve experienced them yourself in their natural habitat – the live environment. Naturally this ideal setting is out of reach for your every day doze of TPOG, wherefore I Hate has found it their duty to present “Primula Pestis” to the world! Cause, believe it or not, TPOG’s debut album can rightfully be presented as a fair substitute for a live TPOG-flattening of your skull, at least if you happen to have a low-end stable, home stereo… The natural heaviness of the songs is encapsulated in a production as fat as all adjectives for describing something fat put together while Steve’s vocals cuts through it all with the sublimity of an elephant inside a porcelain store! BURNING SAVIOURS TO RELEASE DEBUT CD ON I HATE.
I Hate are proud to announce the signing of Swedish Heavy Rock/Old School Doom merchants BURNING SAVIOURS for a full-length album. Fans of 70's Sabbath, Pentagram, Witchfinder General and Saint Vitus are in for a real treat here. BURNING SAVIOURS goes all the way in their strife to perfect the ultimate in Doom Rock and as a means to succeeding they have developed a vintage sound so authentic you can actually feel the warmth of the red hot tubes in their amplifiers... Singer Andrei Amartinesei is an important factor in the bands quest for THE sound as well, coming across as a mixture between Bobby Liebling and Zeeb Parkes, though still retaining an edge of his own. And the songs speak for themselves, pure class, enough said (disbelievers are hereby advised to check out the song "Into the Abyss" that is available for download from the bands site). ABYSMAL GRIEF TO RELEASE MLP ON I HATE
The Italian HORROR/DOOM METAL creatures will release a MLP through I Hate during the first half of 2005. It will be a thematic piece dealing with the subject of spiritism and promises to be a very dark and atmospheric release. Note though, that although ABYSMAL GRIEF at a first glance might appear to be gothic in their approach, at least visually, they have nothing in common with all the sterile and dull Gothic Metal bullshit poisoning the so-called-metal scene! ABYSMAL GRIEF is way too heavy and dark to be acquainted with nonsense acts like Theatre Of Tragedy and their peers! More valid references to what they're about are to be found in their fellow country men in early DEATH SS, BLACK HOLE and MORTUARY DRAPE, i.e. pitch black atmosphere in that typical Italian vein and heavy as a hearse rolling over your chest...

Anthropophagy, the second studio album by the Brazilian THRASH-force of nature was originally released in 1987 on LP only. Now this master piece of
shredding THRASH is finally made available on CD for the first time, with the 1983 demo Devil On My Roof included. All songs has been carefully re-mastered as to increase the original level of brutality through a more direct and sharp sound, meaning the original grimness is preserved while the brutality of the listening experience is enhanced.
In the fat 16 page booklet you will find lyrics for all songs and loads of pictures from main man Zhema’s own collection. VULCANO - Anthropophagy + Devil On My Roof CD is a must for any self-respecting THRASH fan!
