Dear friends and fans,

with heavy heart we have to inform you that our upcoming gig this Sunday 15.02.2009 supporting Wolves In The Throne Room (US) at Roter Salon in Nuremberg/Germany was be the last one with drummer and founding member Sebastian Engelhardt.

Here's the statement of Sebastian:

"Since 5 years I've been involved in Earth Flight and worked hard to create what became of Earth Flight over all these years. Facing rough times in my private life I was now forced to take a decision regarding my work for Earth Flight, the upcoming album and the time-consuming commitment that comes along with that. For the moment I can not put enough time, effort and energy in the band and need to focus on enduring some troubles in my private life which are on top priority at the moment. So this Sunday I will be playing drums for Earth Flight for the last time and I would be very happy to see some of you there. As my future within Earth Flight is uncertain I do not want to obstruct the work of the band and they will still carry on working on new material and the upcoming second album. Now I just want to thank everybody in the band for the great times we shared and also all the people that supported us in the past 5 years, all the bands we've played with and everybody we met on the road at 65 gigs in 7 european countries... It was really a blast!"

We are very sad about this current situation but have to accept Sebastian's decision. Therefore we wish him all the best, good luck, strength and thank him for all his work & comittment for the Flight! We will keep you posted about our current status in due time and would enjoy to see a lot of you at our gig in Nürnberg this sunday!
