SUZUKITON TO RELEASE DEBUT FULL LENGTH WITH CRUCIAL BLAST

Crucial Blast is excited to announce the release of  “Repair Manual”, the debut full length from Richmond, VA instrumental metal wizards SUZUKITON. Originally self-released as a demo in 2002, Crucial Blast felt that this 13 song disc was more than powerful enough to warrant a legitimate release. Slated for release in early 2005, “Repair Manual” features drummer Bryan Cox of ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY, and unleashes a storm of meteoric percussion, anthemic math rock salvos, and pulverizing metal complexity.

CRUCIAL BLAST TO RELEASE NEW SKULLFLOWER ALBUM

Crucial Blast is extremely stoked to announce the addition of underground noise legends SKULLFLOWER to our expanding roster. The new album from SKULLFLOWER, entitled Orange Canyon Mind, will be released in early 2005 through Crucial Blast.

“Orange Canyon Mind” is the follow up to 2003’s acclaimed “Exquisite Fucking Boredom” (Tumult Records), and the 8 tracks that stretch out over the 60 minute running time feature some of the group’s most gliding, melodic, hypnotic, and searing drone rock yet recorded.

SKULLFLOWER formed in the mid-1980’s out of the splintering of the industrial, noise, and punk underground alongside their peers and collaborators in Whitehouse, Godflesh, Controlled Bleeding, etc. Their feedback-driven heaviness is a direct precursor to the likes of  modern avant-garde / freeform rock/metal artists such as ISIS, SUNN O))), BORIS, and GRAVITAR, and SKULLFLOWER is cited as a major influence on GODFLESH.

JUMBO’S KILLCRANE new album The Slow Decay out October 26th

The new full length from prog-sludge crushers JUMBO'S KILLCRANE will emerge in stores everywhere on October 26th. This 6 track bludgeoning features a darker, more punishing approach to their molasses-covered riffs and anguished anthems...building from an abyssal drone and exploding into tightly-wound, barbed wire riffs and howling despair, The Slow Decay bulldozes, as heavy as time, over the wreckage of a grim world. Produced by Robert Rebeck at Black Lodge Studios (GET UP KIDS, COALESCE, SLOWDIVE), and mastered by Scott Hull at Visceral Sound, The Slow Decay is a brutal eruption of angular sludge and violent, post-Amphetamine Reptile rock.

JUMBO’S KILLCRANE will kick off a full US tour starting in November with WEEDEATER to support The Slow Decay.

An advance track from The Slow Decay, “Locust Blanket”, can be downloaded here:
