CONNY OCHS’ Black Happy Out Now; Full LP Streaming At American Aftermath

The enigmatic German guitarist/vocalist CONNY OCHS is slowly but undoubtedly infecting the masses, the man’s ability to create infectious anthems and ballads in the vein of classic singer/songwriters to be considered Americana -- namely citing Woodie Guthrie, Neil Young, John Jacob Niles and Townes Van Zandt -- boasting tales of woe and sadness, as well as redemption and moving on past those things in life that hold us in the rotting grooves of tribulation.

OCHS reaches a stark authenticity that draws you in, bearing all with raw emotion through his captivating vocal and melodic guitar style, delivered with finesse both in the studio and on the stage as an international voyager. What is channeled into his music, tone and lyrics are indisputable personal truths, the kind that are deeply rooted in the blackened parts of the human soul. Following his cult but potent solo 2011 release debut, 'Raw Love Songs', followed by last year’s amazing collaborative LP and international touring with Scott “Wino” Weinrich, the second LP CONNY OCHS -- the already-iconic-to-diehards opus entitled 'Black Happy' -- is out now worldwide via Exile On Mainstream, available on LP, via digital download, and in a limited wooden box CD edition.

To commemorate the release of 'Black Happy', today the massive OCHS fans that run badass outlet American Aftermath have published an in-depth interview with the soloist, alongside an exclusive stream of the entire album; CHECK IT OUT HERE.

Also check out a captivating full live set from an OCHS show in Warsaw, Poland in February and more RIGHT HERE.
