BRUCE LAMONT's Entire Upcoming Solo Album Streaming Now At Stereogum

As of today Stereogum.com's "Haunting The Chapel" column is hosting a full album stream of Bruce Lamont's upcoming debut solo album 'Feral Songs For The Epic Decline'. Delve into the mammoth diversity of all seven tracks from the album a week and a half before its official street date HERE.

Fully envisioned, written and performed by Bruce Lamont himself, with no studio guests or phoned-in performances, 'Feral Songs For The Epic Decline' is set for release on January 25th via At A Loss Recordings. The album showcases Lamont's forward-thinking attitude and otherworldly visualization, merging sounds born of post-metal, industrial, electronic, ambient and even world music realms, into something completely unique, and unlike anything else he's been a part of.

Catch Lamont on tour now fronting nationally respected LedZep cover act Led Zeppelin 2, set to perform in NYC tonight! More solid live plans for the solo artist are in the works as well, including record release shows in Brooklyn and Bruce's hometown of Chicago, performances at this year's SXSW Festival in Austin, and full-on regional touring stateside and abroad. More info will be continually announced throughout 2011 as it becomes available.

Most widely recognized for his saxophone and vocal work fronting Chicago's Yakuza, Bruce Lamont has also contributed to a plethora of other projects including Bloodiest (featuring members of 90 Day Men, Sterling), Circle of Animals (with Sanford Parker, Minsk/The High Confessions), Sick Gazelle (with Eric Block and Sanford Parker) and Led Zeppelin 2. He’s also recorded with Sigh, East West Blast Test, Minsk, Nachtmystium, Rabid Rabbit, Brutal Truth, Cephalic Carnage, Sweet Cobra, Locrian, Hex Machine and more.
