SOLACE (Further) CD/2LP

The first full-length record from SOLACE on METEOR CITY offers nothing new but that doesn't mean that it's boring. The band has worked out 8 tracks, filled with different vibes. Some songs like "Black Unholy Ground" goes more in a Hardcore direction and SOLACE put a nice 70's Rock touch into it. That's one of the trademarks of SOLACE ... to create a fusion between these both musical directions. And I must admit, they play it with a big intensity and a lot of hard riffs.

A great song is "Angels Dreaming", a Doom track with awesome riffs and nice tempo changes. The production of "Further" is fat and fits perfect to the songs.I would say that "Further" is a whole album and it's a nice and a heavy ride. The cover artwork was done by Wes Benscoter and it's fantastic... Demons sitting around a skull-pot, really a great painting! So, all in all if you want to check out the world of SOLACE visit the METEORCITY website for more informations or contact to the band. The vinyl version comes with two bonustracks and it's available through PEOPLE LIKE YOU REC.
