FLUID (s/t) MCD
This is a German band from Mainz and they released this first 5 song EP in 1999.The roots of FLUID go back to the beginning of 1998 and before, the guys played in different bands (Hardcore, Metal, Pop, Blues). All this influences are shining through this demo.But I also hear a little bit of bands like OBSESSED, KYUSS, MONSTERMAGNET and SOUNDGARDEN. Some songs have a psychedelic touch and the guitar riffs are real heavy , filled with slight Hardcore element. FLUID have done a great job and my personal highlight is the song "Space Invader". Only the vocals are little bit monoton, but it doesn`t matter to much and I think that FLUID are on their way.
