BLACK MOSES (Emperor Deb) CD

Does anyone remember Thee Hypnotics? If so, then you know singer James Jones of BLACK MOSES. He plays also guitar together with bass-player Graeme Flynn and Drummer Chris Buncall. J. Jones is still aware of the 60's high energy Detroit rock bands like early Stooges and MC5. But BLACK MOSES are definitly not Thee Hypnotics Part II. Less heaviness and more Soul and Funk is the new direction in most of the songs, but BLACK MOSES aren't sounding too cheesy. This album is more like a journey through the 60's with tons of groove and a good listening while relaxing or cleaning up your room, but I better prefer Thee Hypnotics.
