When I went to see Mass Grave at the AZ Mülheim in August 2008, bassplayer Dave gave me this self-released 7", because OSK is another band where he's playing bass. SCUMBELLY, featuring one member from Mudlark, fire it up with nine ultra-fast hardcore/sludge scorchers, while OSK attack with five tracks of blistering powerviolence. Both bands play heavy and hard yet bring on something fresh with their styles. Their dedication and professionalism leave very little room for criticism. The EP is a cool pairing of two bands from Vancouver, Canada, and I bet both bands are amazing live. If you dig that stuff, then this is definitely worth picking up, not only because it's pressed in clear vinyl.
