40 WATT SUN is the new project of Patrick Walker, the singer, guitarist and songwriter of his previous band, the legendary British doom metal band WARNING. He is accompanied by drummer Christian Leitch (guitarist and songwriter of THE RIVER) and bass player William Spong.
Their sound is characterised by a melodic, down-tempo song-writing style, sparse arrangements and introspective lyrical themes. 40 WATT SUN's debut album, 'The Inside Room', will be released on Cyclone Empire around June/July 2010.
But first they will be showing up on the weekend of the 9th & 10th of April for their debut European show at the mighty DOOM SHALL RISE VII Festival in Göppingen, South Germany!
