Taking their name from a Northern brew of great strength and gravity, London's CENTURIONS GHOST has been creating music with a formidable punch since 2001. Musically they are a critic's worst nightmare being heralded as a Doom, Black and Death metal band. In fact they are a mixture of all of these, constructing songs that have an epic flow and overwhelming heaviosity.
In recent reviews CENTURIONS GHOST have been likened to CELTIC FROST, USURPER, VENOM, CANDLEMASS and CATHEDRAL and has been voted 3rd best unsigned band in the Terrorizer end of year poll 2003 and 2004 respectively. Gigs have seen them headline in the UK and Europe and sharing the stage with the likes of TURISAS, THEE PLAGUE OF GENTLEMEN, BENEDICTION, VADER, ESOTERIC, CANCER and ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY. A new tour will take place in the beginning of October 2005, dates to be announced on the I Hate site and the bands own site as they are booked.
