THE OBSESSED / THE MYSTICK KREWE OF CLEARLIGHT (s/t) Split-7"
The fourth release in the SOUTHERN LORD singles club is again a very recommandable collectors item in a limited edition. Both bands are playing two cover songs from LYNYRD SKYNYRD. "On The Hunt", played by THE OBSESSED and recorded in 1994 with Dale Crover (MELVINS/ALTAMONT) and Greg Rogers on drums. This rare session was also released on the "Incarnate" album, so all Wino fans know this awesome track. CLEARLIGHT are playing "Cheatin Woman" with Pepper Keenan (COC) on vocals. This song comes from an older demo and this fine cover version is very close to the majestic original. This little piece of vinyl is a must have for every fan of both bands and together with the beautiful cover artwork, it´s the next high-quality release from the excellent SOUTHERN LORD label.
